WHAT WE DO
Year-round protection for East Baton Rouge Parish
MARC monitors mosquito and rodent populations across the parish, deploys ground and aerial spray operations, and responds to resident service requests, all at no direct cost to residents.
Surveillance
Ongoing trapping and testing to detect disease-bearing mosquitoes.
Ground Spraying
Spray trucks operate evenings parish-wide, targeting peak mosquito flight activity.
Aerial operations
Aircraft, including drones, treat large or hard-to-reach areas when ground control isn't sufficient.
Rodent control
Inspect for entry points along with issuing rodenticide bait.
TAX RENEWAL
MARC is funded by a parish millage tax, which is up for renewal in November 2026.
